Olde England, the real ale pub built in 1854 (hence the name of this site), is a family run true free house in the middle of St.Helens town centre on the corner of College Street and Corporation Street by the Landings roundabout.
Serving hand pulled bitters, many sourced from local micro brewery’s. We run our pub the way you want it, like a real, old english pub.
We have a piano, and from Thursday the 31st of May, Piano Pete will be coming to play our piano from 8:00pm every Thursday. Listen to his music on his website pianopete.co.uk
On piano days, we will also be serving speciality cheeses, with English wines and Mead from £2.50

We often stock real local ales from the likes of Liverpool Organic, Southport brewery and George wrights brewery of Rainford.
Along with Real ales, Whiskys, Vodkas, Wines and Spirits, we also serve a selection hot or cold beverages and sweets.
We have a new pool table, an internet updated Jukebox with a huge choice of your favourite music, Dominos, board games and magazines. Weekend news papers are also available in the traditional bar area and piped back ground music in the comfortable lounge.
The Olde England pub offers a very friendly and warm welcome. Some of our regulars have been coming in for 50 years and have some great tales to tell, but we love to welcome new faces too.

For small meetings and gatherings (up to 15 people), the top part of our lounge can be reserved.
If you require hot or cold food for your meetings, this can be arranged from just £2.50 to £5.00 per head.
• Minimum 10 people, pre booking required, meeting between 11:00am and 9:00pm.
